February Favorite Products!

Each month I want to share with you all some new products that I try, what I use them for and a small review of the product.

Conditioner: Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditioner provides really great definition, leaves a light-medium hold, fresh fragrance, extremely easy to distribute- very creamy, great slip for detangling and super cheap which is always a plus! I usually co-wash my hair 1-2 times a week. Leaving the product in my hair, I detangle, let it sit for a few minutes, then wash it out.
Walmart/Walgreens/Grocery Stores etc. $2.99
Leave In Conditioner: Cantu Shea Butter Leave- In Conditioning Repair Cream,an intensive deep penetrating leave in cream conditioning treatment that is made with pure shea butter and other natural oils to stop and mend breakage, repair split ends, and add manageability and shine with every application. I apply this leave-in to my hair after a wash or co-wash and continue to style my hair. I honestly have not found a leave-in that works better than Cantu for my hair!

Walmart/Walgreens/Beauty Supply Store $4.99

Beauty Supply Store $2.99

Oil: Castor Oil- contains vitamin E, minerals, proteins, antibacterial and anti-fungicidal properties. In addition to healing benefits, castor oil also contains anti-inflammatory properties, all of which are related to healthy hair growth. Castor oil is great for adding shine, improving scalp circulation, preventing hair loss, controlling split ends, sealing, treating dry scalp/dandruff, moisturizing scalp and thickening hair. I apply Castor Oil to my hair daily. Any time my hair is wet, I apply Castor Oil because the oil helps seal the moisture, and besides I want long/thick hair as I'm sure most of you do as well! lol

Sally's Beauty Supply 32 oz. $5

Gel: EcoStyler Argan Oil Gel is formulated with rare oils extracted from kernels of the Argan tree in Morocco. The formula conditions and revitalizes the hair while adding a brilliant shine. Moisturizes providing hydration and elasticity to hair. Conditions with Omega fatty acids and Vitamin E to provide nourishment that strengthens hair. The lightweight formula will give you superior hold without weighing hair down.Like all of Eco Styler styling gels this new gel minimizes flakes and tack, and aids in the prevention of dry skin. Provides UV protection with no tack and is anti-itch.

Perfect for wash & go's, laying down those edges, whether it be for a high bun, side puff, styling twists, etc. Works great on my hair, perfect hold and lays my hair down well!

    Target/Rite Aid/Sally's $14.99
Curl Definer: Organic Root Stimulator Curls Unleashed Set it Off Curl Boosting Jelly  is made with soothing aloe vera, wheat protein, vitamin B and other ingredients to help give you gorgeous, “crunchless” curl definition. This product helps eliminate frizz without making your hair feel hard or crunchy and provides all day hold. Great for all types of hair.

OMG ya'll! This stuff is greatttt! I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago, I had received a sample when checking out at the beauty supply store. I applied a small amount to wet, freshly washed hair and it worked amazingly! This product is perfect for a wash and go! It defined each and every one of my curls, while adding a shine to it. I didn't have any issues with having any time of residue on my hair. This product is extremely light and I didn't feel like it weighed my hair down AT ALL! I was very impressed. :)

    Walmart/Grocery Stores/Target etc. $1.29/pack
Deep Conditioner: Organic Root Stimulator's Olive Oil Replenishing Deep Conditioner is a deep conditioner that helps moisturize and rebuild damaged hair. It leaves the hair feeling soft and very manageable. Benefits of this deep conditioner is that it moisturizes hair and scalp, softens hair, helps detangle hair, conditions and soothes scalp, nice soothen citrus smell and it comes in a small package, so if you don't like it, you will not have leftovers. However, It is also sold in bottles.

Once every two weeks I like to apply a deep conditioner to my hair to replenish it. I am hooked to ORS's Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner. After washing my hair with shampoo, I apply ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Pak generously on my hair and used my fingers to properly distribute the product to each strand of hair.  I cover my hair with plastic cap and leave it covered for 45 min to an hour. This conditioner leaves my hair feeling soft and easy to detangle my hair.

Being that this is the only deep conditioner I have tried, I am very open to other suggestions so please comment and share your deep conditioners!!

Those are all of the current products I am using for the month of February. I've been trying to co-wash more lately so I haven't had the chance to try a new shampoo. I am still currently using Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibicus Shampoo, but I will make sure to document the next shampoo I try!

Feel free to leave comments below reviewing these products if you've had the chance to try them out! Also share some of the current products you all are currently using!
