My Current Hair Products

Hi loves! It's been forever, LITERALLY! Just want to update you all on my updated hair regimen and introduce you all to some new products I've been trying :)

So I'm still doing the curly girl method and I have not used shampoo in months. Whenever I feel like my hair needs an extra deep cleaning, I opt for an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse and it clarifies my hair just fine!

My staple cowash is As I Am's Coconut Cowash (LOVE this stuff) it leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean and most importantly moisturized! As far as a follow up conditioner/detangler I recently tried Aussie Moist and LOVED it! Before I would trade off between Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner & Tresemme Naturals, both are favorites of mine!

I recently purchased Mixed Chicks Leave In Conditioner and I'm really liking it so far! It's very lightweight yet effective which is perfect for these upcoming summer months :) The only downside however is that this conditioner runs about $20 :( I'm a very frugal person and I really don't know if I can see myself dishing out $20 for a leave in conditioner often.

My current favorite moisturizers are Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk & CURLS Creme Brule. Both smell really good and moisturize my hair great! If you are looking for a product that is going to give you hold then these products are not what you should opt for. They are moisturizers and do just that, at least on my hair. Both are water based and work perfectly when you want to add some moisture to refresh old hair and seal with an oil!

Deep Conditioners that I am currently using are Shea Moisture's Deep Treatment Masque, Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioner Protein Pack, and One n Only Argan Oil Restorative Mask. I cover my hair with a plastic cap and let these conditioners sit in for about 45 minutes while I do things around the house. You can also sit under a hooded dryer for about 15 minutes for an even deeper conditioning treatment. All of these deep conditioners are great for adding plenty of moisture to your hair strands and leaving your hair feeling clean, light and super soft!

That is a list of my current hair products. Some are new and some are old, which are truly my staples! Have you tried any new products lately that you want to recommend? Comment below and share! :)
